Each SmartSine Series model includes a serial communications cable and a CD with web browser based Minuteman SentryII power management and shutdown software. This powerful software affords the user the ability to shutdown the connected computer as well as an unlimited number of servers or workstations on the same network, even machines using different operating systems or third-party UPS devices. Minuteman SentryII is compatible with all popular operating systems including: UNIX, Linux, Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP and Novell Netware.
Expansion Slot Provides Added Features & Intelligence
Each SmartSine UPS includes a built-in expansion slot for optional accessories like the Minuteman Computer Interface Card, an SNMP card that allows monitoring and management of the UPS via web
browsers or standard NMS system, the Minuteman Computer Interface Card with Environmental Monitoring Device Kit for monitoring temperature / humidity conditions via the uPS through a browser, and the Multi-RS232 ports Card that allows one SmartSine UPS to send a shutdown command to 3 different computers when using the standard Minuteman SentryII monitoring and diagnostic software.
