Power management software allows total control
The new Enterprise 1U models are the first MINUTEMAN products to include simultaneous use of USB and RS232 communications, with both ports integrated into the back panel of the UPS. Both ports may be used to interface with the branded MINUTEMAN Sentry Business™ power management software. This software provides full diagnostic capabilities, as well as the ability to automatically shutdown connected equipment. With MINUTEMAN's loadshedding technology, it is now possible to shutdown noncritical equipment connected to the UPS in order to extend the runtime of critical network components during extended blackout conditions. MINUTEMAN also provides full SNMP capabilities through an optional internal SNMP card slot, which makes the UPS an addressable device on the network.
